A lightning strike fried one of my garage doors. I looked online and found Precision, who had free estimates if you booked online. And they had a same day opening. Tito showed up earlier than scheduled, quickly diagnosed the issues, showed me my options, and got right to work. Two hours later I had a working garage door again. Definitely recommend!

My garage door stoped working in the morning. I called precision and they had Tito come to my home about two hours later. Tito diagnosed the problem and replaced the drive belt and track quickly! First I would like to acknowledge how amazing it was the receive a text message with the photo of the technicians coming to our home. As a woman who would be home alone during the service, it was reassuring and comforting to see the technician's photo prior to arrival and know who I was letting into my home, but more importantly, be able to have accountability in case something were to happen. Aside from that, three techs serviced us in one day. The first gentleman, Isaac, came and assessed our garage door situation. He called prior to arriving and was even a little bit early. We had a spring break with our garage door, but he also assessed our motor and mechanisms involved. Then, he was able to give us three routes: a bandaid, a middle of the road, and a whole new system. We did not anticipate buying an all new motor and all new mechanisms, we were just going to bandaid the situation. However, Isaac made excellent points and without feeling like we were given a sales pitch or feeling pressured, we agreed that it was necessary to replace everything but the door itself. The price was much more reasonable than we thought, with a reliable brand, and 5 years warranty. As my car was trapped in the garage, we were worried it would take a week to order parts, get on the schedule, etc. but no- Isaac got us on the schedule for later that same day to be completely finished! Hours later, I received another text message from Precision with another technicians photo and arrival time. I also got a call from Daren, the next technician, as the time got closer. He was scheduled to come at 4, at 3:00 he called to say they finished a job early and had us next and asked if it were okay if they came on and got started- ABSOLUTELY! Daren and his service assistant, Tito, were very well mannered and kind. They worked efficiently and quickly finishing the job in a couple of hours (if that). They were personable and walked me through set up for the app and showed me how the camera on our new system worked and what we should do going forward. I cannot recommend this company enough to anyone and everyone who asks. Thank you Precision for your commitment to your customers and knowledgable staff. You have gained a new lifetime customer.

I selected Precision Door for garage door opener service because I felt their website demonstrated transparency about who they were and what they did, and also showed pride in the team by showing us photos of all the technicians and telling us about each. The composition of the website, with detailed information, shows they take pride in their business. I also liked the fact that they expressed willingness to repair instead of just trying to sell a new opener. Our technician was Justin, and he was great. Showed up on time, looked professional, explained all the options including pros, cons, and cost of each, and did not balk when I chose a less expensive option of making repairs with a new part. He clearly has done this many times, was very efficient, was willing to let me watch and ask questions, which he answered, and was totally nice and professional all around. The opener works great, he adjusted it better than it was before, and even lubricated the door. I felt the price was very good, and I am very pleased. I would call them again if needed.

We have had to call Precision Door Service twice in the past couple years for our 20+ year old door and each time they responded immediately. Their technicians are super friendly and very knowledgeable. Justin was here today and went well beyond his means to educate us on the basic mechanics of the door and when he learned that I hadn’t yet set up my phone to use remotely, he did it for me. I can now monitor my door when I am away! The last thing I’d like to commend them for is not pushing you to replace “something that isn’t broken”. That is a quality in a company that is greatly appreciated by us.

On Friday afternoon 4-3-26 our garage door completely failed and we looked Precision up on Google to find out who we could get to come out to Winchester to fix our problem and found the ad for Precision. After reading about the services that they offered, we called and talked with Andrew about sending someone to look at our door. Andrew sent a team of Daren and Tito to access the problem, after looking over the situation they explained the two options we could do. Fix the existing problem or replace the entire garage workings ie: springs, rollers, motor, etc. and completely rebuild it. Daren explained all that they would be doing and we chose that option. Daren and Tito proceeded to complete all of the things they would do! These two technicians were a combination of very efficient guys who were obviously well trained in their work. Very polite, very informed and very conscientious. Thank you, Daren and Tito for a great job!! Would certainly recommend Precision to our friends and family along with Daren and Tito!!!!

We have used Precision a couple times in the past 10 years for garage door repair. 5 star service each time before. They were punctual, respectable and affordable. However, our most recent experience with them was an embarrassment for their company and waste of money. We had our garage door get caught on something coming down and it took off a hinge, a couple rollers came off, guiding cable came off. Wasn’t pretty. Def not a DYI job. So I called Precision Door to come out and as usual, they were on time, in fact early. But that’s where the similarities of past experience ended. The person they sent for repair, Isaac, was not in a van with tools or spare parts, but rather a truck. Not a work truck, filled with tools and parts, just a company branded truck. Kind a weird, but ok. No big deal, right?!? I let him inside and I show him the garage door and about after 15 seconds of looking at it, without even giving a full assessment he says that’s it’s not worth repair and we need to buy a new garage door. Now, I’ve been in sales for over 20 years. Usually there’s some rapport to build with your customer before you get to the point of asking for a sale. There was none, he skipped all that. He has the audacity to say that if he were to repair it, it would cost over $1000. So I consult with my wife we ask him what the alternative is. Instead of showing all the options and actually taking the time to show value, he writes up an estimate for $3,000 for a new garage door and shows a quick color sample of the options. On top of that he hands me a couple of one page brochures that don’t have a lot of information, and says if we want a different design it may add a couple hundred dollars. He let me know that he was the top salesman in the area and that he could get it replaced in a couple of hours. All of this took place in a matter of 10 minutes. I know it probably wasn’t an easy job, but $1,000 for a repair seemed a little excessive. And while a new garage door would be aesthetically pleasing, it’s just not a top priority for us right now. So for them to come out, they charge an $85 service charge. I agree to pay $85 and I let him know that we will think about it. We called another national known company to get a second opinion. They come out, look at the door for 15 seconds and said, “let me get my tools.” In about 10 minutes and $185 later , the garage door was fixed by a competent person. If you want a quick install on a new garage door, Precision Door may be a good option. But they definitely acted in bad faith in providing me with an actual estimate for repair and took $85 for not even doing an honest assessment. They were looking for a quick sale. Guess the sales guy was just looking for lunch money that day. Honestly, call Overhead Door for your repair needs, I know we will in the future.

Was able to get an appointment the day after my garage door broke. Justin showed up on time. Explained the issue with our garage opener thoroughly and what options that we had in fixing it, when he explained each one he was not pushy in the extra cost to each up grade. He knew his job and each component he was replacing. When finished he explained how to properly maintain our equipment going forward. We recently relocated from Florida to Kentucky and purchased a 13 year old home. The garage door was not insulated, vinyl no longer doing its job and could see the daylight coming through. Also the opener was on its last leg. We contacted Precision and Isaac came out and listened to our concerns and provided us with our options. After sticker shock, we went ahead and proceeded with getting a new insulated garage door and opener. Just had it installed yesterday by Ray. He took the time to go over everything with my husband and I. The door and opener are so quiet compared to what we had. Cannot see any light coming in on the sides compared to when we had one installed in Florida by a company down there. Would highly recommend to anyone in the market for a new garage door and/or opener.
